Carla Aleixo

Dr. Carla Aleixo qualified in Lisbon in 2007 and joined @smile dental clinic in May 2015. Originally from Portugal and moved to the UK in 2011 before settling in Jersey.

Over the years she attended numerous courses to continue her professional development and expertise, especially on her area of interest - Orthodontics - an area that she started performing since 2009.

She now dedicates all of her clinical time to her special interest Orthodontics. She joined a team of a reputed UK Orthodontic Specialist Clinic early 2018 and until recently, used to travel there every week.

Carla has completed extensive training in orthodontics nationally and internationally and is currently in her final year of her MSc in Orthodontics at Warwick University. She has a vast training in all aspects of orthodontic treatments and is a Full provider of Invisalign™️ for many years now.

Carla dedicates all of her time outside work to her three children and loves travelling. Having lived all her childhood in the Algarve she is a fan of the beach and sun.
